Once again hoping to get some info from the vast amounts of knowledge here.

One of y granddaughters came in the house last night holding a FedEx door tag she found in the flower bed. It clearly had been out in the weather but probably not for very long. It had my name on it and hand written "must be signed for, cannot use release". I have a release so they drop most things ... every so often I need to sign. I am not expecting anything. Called the 800 number and it said it was not a valid number. This morning I went to the FE hub and she said it was not valid and nothing they can do about it. She actually crumpled it and tossed it in the trash and seemed put out when I made her get it out and give it back to me.

Any ideas what this might be or figure out a way to trace this?

Funny, but I always say the difference between Fed Ex and UPS is that UPS follows delivery instructions: "Back door 2nd floor" "In shed at bottom of stairs" etc.

Fed Ex will just chuck a package over the fence into the bushes. Not REALLY but darn close...

That would be a clever way to troll someone into giving personal info if the tag had a website form instead of phone number.

Bet a fake website that asks for personal info would fool a lot of people. Just scatter the cards in a neighborhood. Genius. --108.69.xxx.xxx

The delivery process should be improving soon as Amazon, FedEx and UPS are merging into one mega International company......

They will call the new company - IAmFedUp --24.101.xxx.xx
