I'm wondering what the average cost should be to have a 950 s/f 2 bedroom apartment cleaned ?
What would you pay a company or individual to clean (not including the carpet cleaning) ?

I've paid someone $10/hr to clean. It was someone's side gig to earn money, and it wasn't very diligent.
I've paid someone $50 to clean, plus another $50 for the appliances (fridge, stove). She was awesome and thorough, but she clearly preferred being a weekly person, not a one-off person. It was also a side gig for her.
I currently use a particular cleaning company. They charge $100 for a light cleaning, $200 for a deep cleaning, and $300 for a make-ready if it's under 1000 sf. (For every 500 sf over, it's an extra $50.) I use them because their make-readies are intended to be one-offs, so I don't feel like I'm irritating anyone by giving them my turnovers.
With my make-readies, I charge the SD $20/hr, even though it's a flat-fee SD. So the last one cost me $350, but it was 13 hours' worth of work. So I only kept $260 towards cleaning from the SD. --137.118.xx.xxx |

I currently pay $40 per hour for a team of 2. They are extremely thorough. She only cleans for people landlords and people who flip houses when they are vacant. They finish the job on average in about 5-6 hours. So on average we will just say I pay about $250 --75.50.xxx.xx |

Mike,
My cleaning checklist shows $50 base for 4 hours of cleaning: an hour in the kitchen, hour in the bathroom, and 2 hours for the rest of the house- porches, mailbox, glass
Then I add
$10 stove
$10 fridge
$10 second bath
$10 4th bedroom
$10 garage
$10 basement
$10 remove a wallpaper type border
$10 - 50 if more than one trash bag, furniture
$3 replace blind
$3 per bush trim
$50 extra if nasty/stinky
So most homes pay $80-90, large homes pay $120-150.
I have found that it’s about the person, not the pay.
The most expensive people we have tried turned out to be the worst for rental turnover because they just wanted to dust and run the vacuum for $250.
I need someone who does not mind picking up trash or diapers, and truly scrubbing the tub. I look for someone who is satisfied by doing a good job and less about the money.
Hotel maids are great! They are used to cleaning a hotel room in 30 minutes for $8/hour. Not grossed out by diapers, etc.
My lease is clear: we charge $50 per hour for cleaning and repairs.

The problem is can you define "clean"
Clean enough for surgery?
A Covid-19 cleaning?
A hotel cleaning?
A tenant cleaning?
A Ray cleaning?
What is meant by cleaning Mike? --24.101.xxx.xx |
