Hi guys,
I just started paying Zillow $9.99/week to advertise the vacant units. I've noticed that the first week was excellent (got over 50 prospects). Sadly none was qualified (bad credit, eviction history, etc). The second week just started last Sunday. I let Zillow automatically renewed the listing. Today is Tuesday, I've only got 5 prospects. I wonder if it was because my listing got pushed down to... page 1000th? Is it better to not auto renew (have to manually cancel) when the first week is up. Then start a new one. So the listing would be on the first (or second) page again? Anybody has any ideas?
Thanks,

Raise the price 300bux, a different type client will look at the better units when priced higher. --76.188.xxx.xxx |

I don't know about advertising on Zillow.
What I know is that every time I run a new ad, every loser in three counties will contact me, hoping they can trick me into taking them.
By the second week, all the losers have tried and been rejected so they don't contact me again. There are a lot of losers out there trying to find a rental so I hear from a lot of hopeful applicants the first couple of days. --76.178.xx.xx |

Vee[OH], thanks for the suggestion. My rent is already near the top for the area.

I found sometimes if you do something as simple as. Adding or changing the address will put you back on top. Try putting a space and then an A after the number. Kind of like it’s unit A . Doing that put my ad back on top. It’s the only thing that worked for me. Or try hiding your address completely. --73.166.xxx.xxx |
