It's hard to find ALL eviction records in one place. However, one source where you can find eviction records of applicants is www.tenantcreditchecks.com.
That service is unique in that they actually use two major eviction data bases to increase the chances that you will find most of the eviction records for an applicant. --70.161.xxx.xxx |

If the prospect is local you may need to call the local magistrate office or court that handles evictions for access to a public data base.
In SC it is sccourts.org and select the county - then search by name.
For me that search tells me more than just evictions.

Since our court records are on line we have had tons of success just looking locally. That's civil and criminal before even running the reports.
To be clear I get no compensation from saying this. The Mr.LL Credit check feature is a no brainier. Many times records not found by us (and we check a lot) are dug up on the report supplied by Mr.LL. FYI this was not a paid announcement-- just experience talking. --99.103.xxx.xxx |

NC doesn't publish evictions online. You have to go to the the actual county courthouse and search through a physical portal. So if you don't know which county (and we have dozens and dozens) you'll never know.
However, I have found evictions from FLORIDA going back to 1998 using peoplesearch.com or peoplefinder or whatever it's called (I was searching for criminal - not on a tenant - and found evictions too.)

We filed several dispossessory recently. Knowing they would not get served-- BUT THEY ARE ON THE County WEB SITE. People aka other LL's now know that they were applied for. This gives the new LL-- if he desires the info needed. Tenant not evicted but tenant not paying either. We feel this could give tenants incentive to stay and pay.
100.00 to file 20 for efile.
WMH that's the way it use to be here-- run courthouse. I know you know this but once you get doc's from applicant-- most time DVLC has one address pay check another, applicant sometimes puts new apt address. So you have some clutter to go thru agreed. With that situation I'd let the Mr. LL web site do the credit and leg work rather than me going to 3 or 4 jurisdictions. --99.103.xxx.xxx |
