Put a ad on Craigslist or other websites for free. Also contact charities like the restore and other charities as many charities require donations. Often when clearing a rental unit what can be donated is separated out then what is not usable is garbage. landfills will have limited space. Depending on where you rental is located, my easiest way to get rid of almost anything without paying a dime is to drag it to the sidewalk and put very noticeable FREE signs all over. I've never had to take back anything and most times, all the junk is gone in about an hour or less. Maybe it's just my neighborhood, but people will take anything, even old tires, etc. FREE does it. Just about to put out an entire 'reconstituted wood' bedroom set, kitchen table and 4 chairs and misc stuff. It won't take long.
