It's been several years, and ours just died...any recommendations? We need to paint trim and ceilings in a 2000 sq ft house.

Robin,

Gaco. Lowes $289 minus coupon. Lasts us for several houses over a year then I sell it to a helper for $100 of labor and buy a new one.

Less pain when it is stolen.

Get an extra hose so you have 50’ of mobility. Less shuffling.

Get a 21” extension or longer depending on ceiling height.

I love to spray paint!

Check out IDAHO PAINTER on YouTube for tips and tricks.

Graco at least 1/2 horse motor if you use it much and with thick latex. I got the 7/8 horse motor model that was around $600 with a tall stand so you can drag the 5 gallon bucket and sprayer around with a tilt of the handle. It's painted at least 50 houses so far without missing a lick. --64.130.xx.xxx

the only one I've owned is the graco magnum x7. 25' hose is long enough for me, and less waste in my opinion. It is not easy to tote the bucket around and it is sloppy process to lift out the feed tube, it's a clumsy set up. Get extra cartridge filters. I hoped it would spray drylock paint, but oil and latex NP.

The idaho painter has some good accessories to consider like the whip.

I bit the bullet and bought a nice sprayer to do cabinets and doors. $1800 on sale.

Used it once. Helper's SON sitting in the car saw the garage where we locked it up and came back that night. Broke the door.

$1800 poof! And now a door to repair.

Nowadays I'm using the Graco X5. I had the next step up Graco X7 but it stopped working a short time after I load it out (never again). I set the Graco on a 5 gallon bucket and a flat piece of wood for stability. I also have 50 feet of hose so I can keep the unit in one place and spray the whole house. If you look on the amaozon or lowe's website there will be reviews along with tips that people give. Good luck Robin. --12.47.xx.xx
