Is it possible to install this vinyl plank over tile and have it level and look right?
1) Will an underlayment solve the problem of the depression in the grout lines?
2) If there is some lippage in the tile in certain areas will that be a problem?
Thanks.

Allure definitely needs the depression filled. Lifeproof less so, but I would still do it. Lippage would be a problem for both products. --71.161.xxx.xxx |

J,
Recently painted outdated heavily textured ceramic tile with epoxy made for garage floors. Tough, looks great. Took just a few hours.

Thanks. I'd never heard of doing that Brad, I didn't know you could paint tile. Does that last? --72.188.xxx.xxx |

Come back in 10 years and let us know how well it held up.
Even in garages, epoxy floor paint will show wear marks in foot traffic areas and a garage doesn't get the same use as a kitchen. --98.146.xxx.xxx |
