For anyone with property here, the gov. just extended the eviction moratorium until Sept. 1.

I wonder how historians are going to view all of this. Just one more hip-shot do-nothing decision.
How about let existing cases be filed and no NEW cases until September 1st?
How about SOME SORT of balance?
One size fits all blanket policies never work. --174.198.xx.xxx |

NE this doesn't even require thinking outside the box--- just a little thought of what the heck there doing to many different businesses. Not just FL either. --99.103.xxx.xxx |

Kind of like the current stimulus package contains discussion for funding for Apache helicopters and F-35's. Ya, I can see how what has to do with a virus.... Hahaha.
The Great Deception.
At what point does this all become madness to the common person? I've seen it as so since the beginning. When do people start putting the pieces of the puzzle together and say enough is enough? --174.198.xx.xxx |

And if the eviction moratoriums are to stop the spread of the virus, why can't they just wear their stupid masks to load the uhaul?
Madness beyond reason. The science is compromised. --174.198.xx.xxx |

If even Florida is doing this, this does not bode well for California other more liberal states. --72.188.xxx.xxx |

I'm tellin' ya'll....you should move to SW Missouri. Full steam ahead on evictions for over a month now in Greene County, MO! Set outs are happenin', and rent is getting paid!
"But there's appreciation!" will only last so long as you can actually COLLECT RENT on the place. An income property that produces no income will eventually fall in value. I'd consider selling NOW before people wise up to the fact that the Govt in those areas do not care about small time land lords.
Fall is projected "Round 2" for C-19 along with seasonal influenza. My guess is they will extend the moratorium at least until Summer 2021, unless we see a crushing wave of red in November. --107.216.xxx.xxx |

Sorta Blonde, why not? It makes sense, right? The precedent has been set with the first moratorium. Now it will be pushed and pushed just like all the other "new abnormal" stuff. --174.198.xx.xxx |

Dec 31? Egads.
Are the tenants still responsible for back rents at that point? (although it's not like they'll have that money). --72.188.xxx.xxx |

Dec 31 is the day to START paying any back rent. If they didn't pay monthly, how could anyone assume they will suddenly pay MORE each month to catch up? This moratorium is so stupid. --72.199.xx.xxx |

Yes, it's laughable. The politicians don't understand how any of this works, and they don't care, it's all about buying votes. --72.188.xxx.xxx |
