Hi All. Still reno'ing our primary in prep to rent. It's been going slow.

My query today is the finish coat for our kitchen cabts.

Light grey color (Benj. Moore) and my better half came home with satin finish. I am concerned about the durability and am wondering if semi gloss or even high gloss is against the decorators code.

Most displays and fotos we have seen is a flat not gloss.

Grey, hmmm. I would think the satin is perfect. Gloss would look sticky. Flat would look cheap. So satin is perfect. I always choose satin for my walls. --173.61.xxx.xx

Satin hides flaws better, but gloss is easier to clean. I'd use gloss for the cleanability benefit on cabinets. --99.92.xxx.xxx
