So, get the range hood re-attached this a.m., & now she says no water pressure.

looked up in file where we replaced it 01/29/2017, so I'm hoping that is all it is.

There are 2 families on this one bored well, but we've had a wet spring, I don't think it is dry, hope not.

Knowing todays products, is it likely pressure switch in 2 1/2 years?

DH had to go for tests today so I am winging it until he returns. --71.219.xx.xx

I had to replace the pump at my vacation house last year, I had the pressure tank replaced at the same time because it was only a couple hundred bucks more and past it’s life expectancy. --174.242.xx.xxx

Sadly, after all of the running back & forth to try & fix it, it was the next door tenant let the electricity lapse.

I couldn't believe it and we learned a valuable lesson. We have 2 units on one well, and we disclose this up front at each lease signing. It is in the lease that the electricity must be kept on because of it.

I was so disappointed in them and if it wasn't for them paying on time and keeping the place in perfect condition, I would ask them to leave BUT I am admitting that this is something that we shouldn't have let happen. The pump should be on a separate meter & the cost split between the tenants (thru rent costs).

They are young people that felt like they deserved a vacation whether they could afford it or not and they just got back from the beach. --71.219.xx.xx
