An ex-tenant asked where he could give us a good review.. That was a first.. Since we don't exist on facebook or yelp, I asked him to text me his testimonial..
I certainly appreciate his gesture and recognition of our professionalism. I will save it in my toolbox, not sure if I will ever get to use it.. But sure nice to collect some more.. (for what? I don't know)

Here is its entirety. He needed to move out 1 month earlier, one guy out of a 4 bedroom apt, the other 3 started a new lease. I did him a favor, charged him $100 and located someone to take his place (his share of rent is $500). Returned his deposit less $50 cleaning/touch up fee (of his bedroom only).
Out of blue, he contacted me about writing a review. I am guessing if you are used to be screwed by slumlords, which probably are more than I can imagine, you recognize a good one and appreciate it. Here is his text..
"I was a tenant of Elliot for two years while residing at xx America St (#3) - Elliot gave me a fair price for the room and did a good job keeping the apartment maintained. He is a trustworthy man (he returned my security deposit within a week of my departure). Easy going as well. I would recommend him to anyone whose in need of a place to stay.
