Hi everyone, has anyone else used RIT carpet dye? Just used it for the first time and it came out terrific on our class c rental! We had tan carpet that tenant kids spilled pop and wrote on it with markers. We watched a few YouTube videos and just did it!

Back when we had wall to wall carpeting in our rentals, we used it successfully several times. --96.237.xx.xx |

Carpet? is that the old soft floor covering that absorbs all stink and stain? Smooth floors are so much easier to mop up spills, now I remember carpet - used for carrying pricker bush cutoffs to the curb so you and the trash handlers don't get bloody hands... --76.188.xxx.xx |

Not sure if were talking the same thing or not, don't know that there is a special dye for carpet but have tried to dye carpets with regular rit & it did not take well/ I think now that it depends a lot on the type of fiber u have/ mine will come right off/ covers dirt well but seems to spread/ synsetic fiber does not take dye well at all. --173.233.xxx.xx |
