What is the best way to get a second phone number to use on mail outs and bandit signs?

In the past I have used Google Voice but I recently switched to Google Fi phone service and my Google number went away when I started using Fi.

I have not figured out the features of Google voice so I have a basic 25 bux phone on a shrunken version of my regular 35 bux a month unlimited plan, no Wi-Fi on the simple phone.

You can have Google Voice and Google Fi-- but not on the same phone. Some people can get around that by using Hangouts.

I don't use the Hangouts or the Hangouts dialer, so I haven't done it myself-- but at least it's a starting point for you to look into.

Continuity is important, especially in business and advertising, to avoid that whole fly-by-night appearance. And, as Ken mentioned, sometimes people put postcards/mailers/notes aside for a few months or years because "that might be useful someday"... and then pull them out of the drawer when "someday" has arrived and they now have the desire to follow up on that information. --96.46.xxx.xx

I have Google Voice on my Google FI phone, you just can't have it for the same NUMBER.

So I have a google Fi phone number , a google voice phone number, and then another google voice number that I used thru hangouts and google mail.

The last number is my "business " number I use for my LLing. --199.247.xx.xx

There are a lot of options besides a second phone. I have several numbers that I've gotten through voip.ms. These numbers are forwarded to my cell number and I can call you from my cell with my other number showing on your caller ID. Many other options exist. Callrail is one that a lot of RE investors use. Google voip numbers and see what you come up with. --12.235.xxx.xxx
