I bought 15 gallons of Kilz, and 15 gallons of Valspar from Lowes yesterday, and I ended up with a rebate receipt for the Valspar.

It said:

Purchase a qualifying size can/pail of paint + primer, exterior stain, or resurfacer, and submit via online or mail-in for a

$10 rebate (114-128 fl oz)

$25 rebate (342-384 fl oz)

$40 rebate (570-640 fl oz)

Items qualified for rebate:

(620-fl oz 2000 SG Pastel Bs)

Last postmark date: 6/29/2018

I don't do mail in rebates anymore. HD turned in this direction and will mail you a visa branded cash card in the mail but it expires in a year, so if you misplace it you are out of luck. Another annoyance is that the $20 and $40 cards look alike and the bank or the store cannot read the card to let you know which one you have. Likewise if you don't spend the full amount on the card, you have to remember the balance.

At the time HD did 5% so I avoided using the cards at the store, now Lowes does 5% on the Amex business card so they get more of my business. HD does have a better price matching policy so if something is cheaper at lowes buy it at HD and get the matched price +10%. --24.194.xx.xx
