State Specific Question About: ILLINOIS (IL)
Is 1017 Dean St. St. Charles Illinois 60174 a valid postal address? I keep getting the error message that it is not a valid postal address and it is.
Thank you, Roger Akers --162.193.xxx.xxx |

According to USPS, it is valid. They confirm it as this:
1017 DEAN ST
ST CHARLES IL 60174-1736
Where are you getting the error message?

I'm getting the not valid postal address error message when I enter a prior address and then the city is highlighted in red and I cannot continue. I probably could continue if I just didn't search for that prior address.
It's just strange.
Thanks for responding,

I have had to spell out "Saint" or put it in as St. Charles. (note the period behind St.) I had one recently that I tried everything and it still said incorrect. Finally put it in under the wife's name and it came up as good and gave me the addition 4 digits. Everything went fine after that. --76.0.xxx.xxx |

That has happened to me also. Sometimes, I finally just don't care what is in there. It is just used to confirm on the actual report. So, you can put whatever there and then just manually look at the prior address list on the report and see if it matches. It is often just like Bill said: some illogical non-match because of "St" versus "Saint" or something.
