State Specific Question About: NEW HAMPSHIRE (NH)
I am wondering how much landlords are paying their CPA
to do the taxes. How many units per building? I think it would be interesting to see what our CPA's are charging. I have 45 units and 4 properties I paid my CPA about $2500 but that was last year. It will be great if Trump simplifies the taxes but I am not sure
how advantageous that is for landlords, we will see. --174.192.x.xx |

We pay our CPA more than you are saying. BUT we pay less in taxes, perhaps?

Perfect timing. I just got mine back and paid $900. That includes the state BET and BPT. I have 59 units and they are all separate as they are condos. The state BET and BPT are just weird in our state. I used to do them myself.
I enjoy having my CPA do them (less time and stress plus I like talking to him and not deal with the state tax stuff). --73.61.xx.xx |

Wow Peter that is far cheaper than mine, do you mind sharing the name and location of that CPA? Just wondering if that CPA can do my taxes. --174.192.xx.xx |

One thing to keep in mind is that your CPA may charge more or less depending upon how prepared you are. If you keep excellent books vs. someone who is totally disorganized, you should be getting a better rate. I don't pay my CPA to do bookkeeping. I pay him to know how to minimize my liability given the books that I give him. --70.178.x.xx |

Interesting change this year, my CPA started billing me based on filing progress instead of getting whacked once in April. --24.239.xx.xxx |
