Anyone have recommendations for good house cleaners for tenant move out. We've had the same tenants for 3 years, and they are leaving the property in absolutely horrible condition. It's filthy - bathrooms especially are horrible black mold growing in showers/baths! The house is in Frederick so someone who will go to that area.

Tenants have been known to get violent when given a

Move-Out (cleaning) Checklist.

That is why they are moving.

The place isn't as clean as when they moved in.

Liz,

Hoisekeepres are everywhere.

Bulletin boards, small ads in the newspaper, fellow LLs, CL, pastor from another church...

Only hire someone with experience and someone you are willing to fire. No friends, relatives, church family.

Hour per kitchen, bath, appliance, half hour per other rooms.

Thanks for the input. Yes, I realize that housekeepers are everywhere and I know about Craigslist, thumbtack, etc. If I needed a house cleaner for my personal home, I'm sure I'd have no trouble finding one as pretty much anyone could do it as it's not dirty. I was just looking for a personal recommendation - perhaps someone that had been used by a member and did/does a great job. Thanks anyway --64.93.xxx.x

Easy to find. Take pictures and include them on your craig's list ad. Only those willing to ddo it will reply. People I use would have no problem. Actually find a cleaner for this situation would be easier than my own house. Nothing much to steal or anyone to staulk. --172.58.xx.xx

Our tenant left the place a disaster and my husband is doing the cleaning. Bathroom so bad it had to be gutted.

It's taking forever to clean the place. Best to get professional in. Make sure they have commercial general liability insurance.
