Hello! I'm the owner of a SFH that I live in and rent other rooms. I currently lost my job and am trying to refinance (high rate of 9%).
The house has equity and I have excellent credit. Are there any mortgage solutions that can help me refinance (collecting unemployment right now)? How about the No Income, No Assets type loans or unconventional loans?

Sounds like a HARP refi might work for you. Find out who owns you loan & if you qualify for a HARP refi. freddiemac.com/corporate or knowyouroptions.com/loanlookup
Then call you current mortgage service provider & see it they can do a HARP refi, costs about $1700. Or a HARP 3step refi, should cost you nothing. If not, get a list of HARP authorized lenders from the Freddie & Fannie sites and start calling around. --71.254.xxx.xxx |

Currently almost all lenders want you to have income to make loan payments. The only other type of loan that I can think of is a reverse mortgage. I don't think they have an income requirement, but my impression is that they are expensive. --71.254.xxx.xxx |
