Does anyone have any advice on cheap insurance in Minneapolis? I have about 15 rental properties, mostly built between 1910-1940. My premiums are currently around $800 a year for $80,000 Actual cash value insurance with $2500 deductible. I don't plan on making any claims unless unless I have a complete loss. Some of them I own free and clear and I would cancel my insurance completely, but I'm too worried about any lawsuits. --184.97.xxx.x

I use Shelter Ins. Not sure if they have offices in your area. My rates are half what you quoted. --71.157.xxx.xxx

Your rates sound too high to me. I pay low $400's yearly for ACV in the $60's with $1,000 deductible and $300,000 liability.

Do you have a lot more liability coverage? In flood zones? --66.228.xxx.xxx
