State Specific Question About: NEW HAMPSHIRE (NH)

Tenant was arrested in March for having an underage drinking party on the property in February. One teenager was brought to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. She was arrested again in June for a complaint that came for an underage drinking party held at the property on New Year's. This arrest included child endangerment. Spoke to the Prosecutor who said he can probably get her on at least one charge. Court is scheduled for Aug. 3 on first charge.

I want to get her out but in NH (at least at our court) it's difficult to evict on 'other good cause.' I sent her letters regarding this criminal activity. Since there was a 2nd arrest, can I give her 30-day notice (I have a TAW)? I really don't want to do eviction & waste my time & money as it has not worked in the past. I also thought about waiting to see if she is found guilty and then give notice; however, if court is continued, it could go on a long time and I want her out soon.... Thanks for the help! --65.175.xxx.xx
