State Specific Question About: NEW HAMPSHIRE (NH)
Can you limit the number of people for a rental of a 3 bedroom single family home (one of the bedrooms does not have heat). Would this be looked at as a 2 bedroom home? --65.175.xxx.xxx |

Most counties have a # per bedroom and a # per square foot and another # of unrelated adults.
Lots of answers could apply. Check the state laws link above and read.
If you want to limit them... take the door off the smallest "BR" and call it an office.

What's the story here? 2 families wanting to share your home? Start by collecting an application fee from each adult and screen, screen, screen! --125.25.xx.xx |

I just had a woman asked me about renting a two bedroom trailer. She & her husband, & four kids. I told her no, I couldn't help her. --71.53.xxx.xxx |
