State Specific Question About: DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (DC)
I am interested in knowing the best way to make a credit report for three tenants in DC that are refusing to move and refusing to pay?
Also, I would love to get an aggressive eviction service in place. Not paid in full since Feb. --76.21.xxx.xxx |

You are looking at this the wrong way -- and obviously letting anger lead you instead of logic.
The eviction is all that matters at this point. Worry about their credit later -- especially since people like that tend to have horrible credit anyhow so it isn't like you adding to it will matter much.
Find an eviction attorney in your area and get started immediately. Maybe try a local LL Association to see if they can recommend anyone. Or maybe someone from DC will reply with a suggestion.
In any case, February was forever ago. You need to get them out -- not worry about ruining their (probably already ruined) credit rating.

on the 5th of the month i start eviction and think u should too if your area lets u.get a landlord tenant atty either from a recommendation here or from a local landlord group or maybe have a friend in the biz or ck yellow pages.get rid of them asap.dont worry about their credit now as john suggests.how did this bum get into your bldg?did u screen carefully?credit,police or criminal?court,last 2 landlords?bad guys leave tracks.see "landlording"by robinson,available at "books"above or your local bookstore can order.on 5th he goes to apt and asks for rent.if no rent he serves the (calif)3 day notice.pg 134.he has hundreds of tenants.good luck --208.58.x.xx |
