Has anyone ever used laminate flooring from lumber liquidators? I was thinking of using this flooring in one of my renatal houses.

I agree with above rcn .... spend a little more now for a better grade ( quality ) A quick fix is just that and in a rental seems to get more abuse then your own home. I have already taken out laminate that just didn't hold up - the press wood partical~ cardboard ( whatever it is ) back vs. real wood back - go with the better. :) --62.20.xx.xx

Laminate is great, but watch it in ANY area that could get wet. I put it in a hallway (avoiding the obvious hazards of kitchen & bath). But I forgot the water heater and furnace was on the other side of the hall's wall. Condensate pump malfunctioned and water overflowed and soaked through the wall into the hallway. Laminate got wet and warped in that spot. Fortunately I had bought enough extra to replace this section. But I will think twice where I put it in a rental. --209.173.xxx.xxx

i put ceramic in the bath when i can...there are some nice peel n sticks on the market now for kitchens and hi traffic areas...i like the laminate and peel n sticks for the same reason some like commercial carpet, wears well and it's an easy rip and re-do... --166.68.xxx.xxx

I have laminate in my kitchen and love it. You don't have to flood it wet to clean it. I just spritz with water from a spray bottle and wipe with microfiber.
