I was looking at Best Buy's Insignia brand. Has anyone had any experiences with it? The reviews are good, but I didn't know how the longevity was in a rental environment.

I have a couple insignia frigs. As long as the place keeps a temperature between 50 and 80 F they are ok. I have one out in my unheated garage and it has issues in that the freezer gets warmer and the frig part gets cold enough to blow out cans.
I use it for a beverage frig at my place. I also have a frigidaire chest freezer. I had one earlier that had a lot of bells and whistles. That one blew out in the middle of July a few years back, I got another one under warranty not as many bells and whistles. Knock on wood it still is going strong in my unheated garage. --64.246.xxx.xx |
