I’m learning to speak tenant . This week I covered request for yard stuff.

Deck box = (translation) shed

Shed =(translation) garage

Carport =(translation) big garage

Gazebo =(translation) homemade shed

As a contractor, handyman and owner of property, I used to get voice messages from my tenants over my Pocket Talk Pager similar to this:

"Robert, the thing in the room isn't working, please fix"!

"The bathroom sink faucet is flooding, hurry up and fix"! When asked to put a coffee cup under the leaking faucet to determine how long would it take for the flooding leak take to fill the cup, the tenant would say, "I don't have that much time to watch it fill the cup, I need to go to work in an hour"!

Or, the tenant would say, "There's a slow leak from the bathroom sink faucet, can you fix it sometime this week". Again when asked how long would the leak take to fill a cup? The tenant would say, seconds.
