We have a prospect come to our showtime yesterday. She drive a van (?10 people van), not mini van. Very hard for her to come down and walk into the house because of very heavy (500lb?). She did not talk to me at all, and went to her van. then Keep sending her 15 year old daughter to ask me question. and the daughter has to back to her mom for answer to my question. Looks like the denial here would be for amount of income. I bet she doesn't make three times the rent caring for her own child. I totally see the red flags waving. I had a tenant with an attitude that wanted to know if he could paint or he could pay for painting the home that had just been painted. He wanted to take care of cutting the grass. I don’t know if I could do what I did but I told him you need a home where the landlord will let you paint and allow you to cut the grass.
