Does anyone have effective tactics to reduce the QSP price further than the first round QSP?

Ask to speak to a manager. You might get a deal-all depends on who you talk to you. --73.230.xxx.xx |

Since there isn't a Lowes that is convenient for me & I don't find their help vey helpful, I rarely purchase anything there anymore. I imagine QSP is similar to Home Depot's bid room.
I use to purchase 20 - 30 appliances each year at my closest Lowes all because of 1 particular salesman in the appliance department. I only ever saw him 3 or 4 times in the 5 years we did business. I would either call or Email him what I was interested in & my time frame for delivery. The prices he gave me were always much better than anyone else for the same items. Unfortunately Jim left Lowes & both his replacement & the appliance department manager didn't seem to value my business so I went elsewhere.
When I get a quote thru the bid room at my local HD & think it can be better, I see the Pro Desk manager. Depending upon their profit margin for the particular item, I can usually get a better price. I would talk to the manager in charge of your store's QSP program.
The minimum bid room list price at my local HD used to be $2,500.00, then $2,000.00, then $1,500.00 & now I think it's only $1,200.00 or $1,000.00. Even without using the bid room, my Pro Desk manager will give me 10% off any orders of $500.00. I also regularly get Email coupons for $20.00 off purchases of $200.00.

Take the same list to Home Depot and then take the competitions bids to each store. Get the to bid against each other. I got lowes down 25% last time. I will be doing another one for a new house in the next few weeks. --174.201.xx.xxx |
