Can't remember if we have discussed this before, but how many ladders do you have? I think I may be a ladder over achiever, I have 8.

2' step

3' step

5' step

6' step

8' step

16' extention

24' extention

28' extention

All aluminum, wish I'd bought a 30' fiberglass instead of the 28'. It gets a little shakey hauling a 5 gal bucket of paint up on a flat roof on the 28'er. But gee that's a big ladder. You'd need a fire truck to haul it around! LOL --47.216.xx.xxx

Two step- slightly wobbly, about as good as is available at big box stores.

Three step- very stable, very expensive. Bought it at the state fair from one of the vendors. Worth every cent. I’ll see if I can add the brand name tomorrow.

Four step will be ordered from vendor at state fair this year. Two step can go in recycling then.

Adjustable A frame ladder. Don’t know how long, maybe 17’ ? I cannot lift it in place when fully extended straight, just not strong enough, given how short I am, when y’all all that length out there to make the arc up. But, with just one more slot left to extend, I can just reach the peak of the gable on one house, have to stick it in the back of my pickup to reach the gables on a different house. Rest of the houses are hip roof, no need to reach gables.

Do NOT do this readers. Most truck beds are slick, mine has rubberized coating. Very grippy. Even then, I sometimes do dangerous/ stupid stuff. This was probably one of those times.

I need to try standing in the bed of the truck, fully extending the ladder, put ladder’s fees on the GROUND, then might just to be able to get the ladder up properly on that taller house. Maybe will give me the height needed to make the swing/arc. Then I could move the truck and go paint. It took a bit of time to find all the teensy paint splatters off the truck last time. Another reason to not stick ladder in truck bed.

See Charley? I do listen! Ladder in the bed of truck is NOT safe!

About a dozen. My Werner 22' and 26' adjustables can do it all, but they weigh a ton. I weigh 300lbs., so no flimsy ones for me. I have bought and had stolen a 30'fiberglass extension and a 28' fiberglass extension. No place to store them inside. Now, if the 26' werner adjustable won't reach,I rent an extension ladder. --73.141.xxx.xx

Around ten. One is a Little Giant multi use ladder. It fits inside the SUV and extends to about 17 feet.

Largest is the 28 foot fiberglass Werner. Most used is the 6 foot fiberglass Werner. --173.233.xxx.xx

Last year purchased two Little Giant ladders - a 27 foot and a 17 foot. Each has the self-leveling legs , which is a game changer. Both can fit inside my Nissan Rogue SUV.

Love, love, love these ladders. --100.6.xxx.xxx

One 30ft that stays in the shop unless needed. One fiberglass 18ft that is tied to roof rack, one 2 step, and 4 step fiberglass and one 6ft aluminum. Can never have enough smaller ladders when turning a house. --99.103.xxx.xxx

2 4 footers, 1 6' and 1 8', all a frames. All inherited from flip houses I bought. 1 16' extension ladder I bought. Any higher and I have someone do it, fear of heights.

Spackle buckets as well. With practice, you can "walk" a bucket across a floor while standing on it. Helpful when spackling. Gets a little hairy doing it with 2 buckets. --50.32.xxx.xxx

Oh, also have a ten foot collapsible ladder that fits within the floor space in front of any car seat. Not the best for standing long term, but, it can go anywhere. Would be perfect for house-shopping. Easy to view into attic or peak at roof. --70.92.xxx.xxx

NO idea. I won't get on one anymore. At least not a LADDER ladder, I will do step stools with larger steps.

I need a step stool to get clothes out of my dryer! It is stacked on top of washer and I can't reach the socks in the back.

I need a two-step stool in kitchen to reach top cabinet shelves.

I have a three-step stool/ladder but DH keeps taking those. I buy another and he takes that. So not sure these days how many of those smaller ones. I know we have a lot of big ones hanging on the fence outside... --50.82.xxx.xx
