Where is best website to locate an ex-tenant for a garnishment? Also, I have tried to find a collection agency to turn some of these over but it seems no collection agency wants to deal with past rents. We have court ordered judgments. --50.110.xx.xxx

If the collection agency doesn't want to deal with past rents, then they must have experience that such collections are hard to make profit.

It may be that vacated renters are hard to find, or it may be that renters who leave owing rent don't generally have anything to collect on, or it may be that they don't have enough extra money to make collection worthwhile.

In any case, why do you think that you will have any better success by yourself?

The moral of the story is that renting to tenant who have no reserve assets is not an efficient business model.

Steve most collection company's don't want LL claims cause it's work-- work they have to usually file suit on. They want the easy money -- like DR.s bills or hospital bills. They post quota's on THEIR tote boards in the office and those are nickel and dime stuff compared to debts owed by tenants.

The BAD business model is renting to someone without a good and long term job. A job they're not going to leave to avoid you.

As JG wentworth says: "it's my money and I want it now". So if you have judgments find someone local who can help and learn how to do it--each state is different. DO NOT LET THESE JUDGMENTS SIT!
