While doing some work at a sfh today, hubby and I smelled something that made us first think of propane. Tenant has a grill, but it's charcoal. No propane tank on the property or next door. Then I lifted the lid of his grill and saw a package made of aluminum foil, and figured he'd left his chicken out on the grill, and it rotted. Mentioned that to the tenant when he came home - nope, just a package of hickory chips to flavor some meat.
Sniffed the new trash bins - they had a distinctive odor, but not quite it. Oh, duh - there was a dead bird on the patio, right next to the grill and the trash bins. At least it was outside! --71.175.xxx.xxx |
