Have had a rash of fake pay checks lately. Hope this isn't a trend. 4 appts and 3 flaky looking pay stubs. One who gave wrong SSI number and one coming off maternity leave -- from her fathers company but shes living with 4 kids with her mom. One guy mid 30's applying who's been living with mom-- said mom's getting better now????
Really strange bunch for end/mid of October. Had one app approved filled in the lease -- getting ready to sign and never showed up..... never called either.??????????????????

This is a concern...sometimes in the past if everything else checked out, I've used paystubs only to verify employment in the past because it was so difficult getting a hold of the employer to verify, or the company used The Work Number for verifications. --72.188.xxx.xxx |

I look at craigs list often to find farm implements and cruise into the housing also, at least 1 person selling fake documents to help you get the nicer car loan, apartment, home loan - and someone must be buying them thinking we (as well as loaning companies) don't check farther than simply reading the name and hoping there is a match to the address shown on a driver license - screen x 3. --76.188.xxx.xx |

IMHO, as effective tenant screening becomes the norm for the mom and pop LL’s, Bad tenants are changing their tactics because the old ways just won’t work nowadays.
