I have a small office building that rents out individual suites to people. I got a call from a trucking company in Georgia that wants to rent a small space in order to do business in Ohio
I called them and they gave me the name of the company and according to them they will be working with owner operators in Ohio and in order to tag them (get them a license plate) they need to have an non-PO Box address
I'm always skeptical of things I haven't heard of but it seems legit - just curious if anyone had ever heard of that --158.48.xxx.x |

So you will have giant semis pulling up there? I would check on that. --73.178.xxx.xx |

The company I work for keeps an apartment in Louisiana in order to maintain a business license there. No biggie. The good thing is, they may never even really use the space. --23.30.xx.xxx |

Well it is true you need a physical address for many things these days, including registering a car, so that makes sense. --50.82.xxx.xx |

Usually there is no fault in such an arrangement, except here we have trucks in all sizes involved.
Tell the trucking company from GA that they need to rent a place with ample parking, not from a small office bldg.
Near me there is a high school. A trucking company rented the bldg next door, and now there are always 12- 20 huge trucks all over the high school and the street, in and out, trying to park or get out.
Some of the owner operate even do maintenance and services on their trucks, right there in the lot and in the city streets. I have seen police ticketing trucks on occasions. I guess they pay the fines and move on. --99.59.x.xxx |

Thanks guys - I will plan on renting from them.
I don't think the trucks will be an issue - my understanding is that they don't need a place for trucks to be; just a legal address, but I will confirm that --158.48.xxx.x |

If it is a mail drop or a dispatchers office, there won't be any trucks there.
You need to find out where the trucks will be parked. --174.216.x.xxx |
