I would not hire a VA,you can be held responsible if the VA says something against fair housing rules,a lot of them are from foreign countries and I would be afraid they would say something wrong because it would be ok in there country but not here.Train your wife,she is home all day right? --72.231.xxx.xxx |

In Indiana a person who gives out information about houses must have a real estate license, so a helper can only ask questions, and even that can be challenged.
In real life, I see no reason to talk to a prospect before we have tjeir application.
I see LLs spending hours of inconvenience on the phone talking to 99 deadbeats.
Info on the answering machine and web, they take a pic of their completed app and text it in.
My screening VA is a retired bookkeeper who lives across town and loves playing detective with apps. I pay by the piece - $3 for each task such as courthouse check, erify employment, pull CR,
We don’t spend a MOMENT talking to anyone until we have their app. Our stress is down and our time has been freed.

NE, I pay him a fixed fee every month to do bunch things for me. He is a smart guy and always looks for ways to help. so, I had to prep him about fair housing etc stuff and have him to do minimal in probing..
My VA only involves in pre-screening and do some background search.. He doesn't get involved with SSN and other sensitive info..
