I don't currently have a rental advertised, but I'm looking through the ads trying to get an idea of what the competition is doing...I see lots of ads in my town that are obvious fraudsters...3 bedroom house in okay neighborhood, nice decor, for $600/mo.? More than I used to see.

I use it. I just got an engineer who works about a half mile down the road from CL. Other applicants were NYC ballerina, Princeton chef. I have a nice building and the neighborhood is great and near Princeton. Downstairs is a pharmacy technician and her fiancé and he is a college student, works IT at the college and is a manager for an electricians office. There are two serious flaws with CL:
1. They mix single family rentals with apartments.

I think it varies by market. In my market CL caters to a lower economic demographic. We also have the large apartment complexes with multiple ads. --98.146.xxx.xxx |

Fred there is a way to search by criteria, "houses" only no apartments...but I don't know if most tenants use that search function or just go to the main "orlando" page. --72.188.xxx.xxx |

I have reported 22 fake CL ads just today. Sometimes there's 3-4 for the same property. CL is extremely slow in removing them. Even better, they'll take down 2-3 of the duplicate posts but leave the others that were reported at the same time. It's a joke. --47.149.xx.xxx |
