Yes we are all landlords (or something similar depending on how you call yourself), but I'm guessing we all have other hobbies and interests too.
I am an avid Oakland Raiders football fan. My wife and I attend two "away" games annually, with a bucket list goal of getting to all NFL cities. So far we've been to 19 cities, and this year we're going to San Francisco and Arizona, which will make 21. It appears our final game will be in Tampa Bay in 2024.
We've seen them in Oakland once, and will be seeing them again in Oakland this year against the Colts. I figured while we were there for the 49ers game (Thursday Nov 1), why not go early and see the Colts at Oakland on October 28th (Sunday). We'll spend a few days in Sonoma Valley also (already been to Napa).
These kinds of trips are what make landlording worthwhile and remind me of Brad 20,000's photo of he and his lovely wife in Hawaii.

My hobby is now bird feeding and it has destroyed my yard after this brutal winter. It's expensive but it's good exercise lifting bags of seed and walking to all the feeders a couple times a day in winter. I have to get the feeders closer to the house now in case we have feet of snow this winter as it is Solar Minimum. I am trying to design a feeder that will keep snow out and let birds in while protecting them from hawks. I really want them to come in under the carport to eat when it's snowy. I have some of them coming in a foot or two so far. Last winter a little nuthatch took a peanut piece out of my hand. --73.178.xxx.xx |

On a serious note, congrats! It's nice to be able to do stuff like that. I travel as well and my favorite place is the Caribbean. I attempt to get there at least once a year. This year, I was lucky enough to go 3 times. Went to Cancun for one trip, a cruise with my oldest kid and will round it out with a trip to the Dominican later. It definitely is nice the freedom this business can provide.

My kid is a natural track star! She is only 12 and has won all types of 1st place gold medals. It's fun to travel to her track meets and cheer her on. I love that girl! @NE, I raise Rex! :) Poor guys, it was at least 105* today, so they got ice bottles.
I spend a week or two each spring and fall taking classes to make an icon in the Russian style. Egg tempera and gold on wood. If you do a GIS for "Prosopon Icon", that's what I'm aiming for. I love the textures of mineral pigments. I've already got my October class blocked off later this year-- we'll be doing "Youths in a Fiery Furnace", which will be pretty cool. --96.46.xxx.xx |

I live on 70 acres with massive flower and vegetable gardens. I spend 4-5 hours per day gardening. I work on canning and pickling and fermenting as well. My lifelong hobby has been astronomy and I have 4 nice big telescopes and a good set of binoculars. --216.23.xxx.xx |

bet, there is a dog problem in South Africa with Pekingese. Because of the situation there. non natives are having their property taken and possibly are killed or threatened so they have to get out quick and let their dogs go. There are a couple of rescues that take Pekes which are as popular over there as Shih Tzu here and they are filled to capacity. Are you in some kind of in formation loop where you could notify someone about this? Small dogs are useful in apartments. --73.178.xxx.xx |
