Your applicant should be able to easily produce a Social Security award letter (or benefit letter) that documents the SSI. She should be able to produce a pay stub. Ken said what I was trying to say...I think SSI is getting a bad reputation because of those who use it to work the system...kind of like the service animals. I doubt most here are jumping up and down when they hear the tenant wants to use SSI as their income source.
