The newspaper articles come up that he is a LV 2 offender but I cant find him on the state registry. So even if I had run his name, it would not have showed up. We only run criminal and credit reports after they have been pre approved by an written application. How is his name is not on the registry? --74.104.xxx.xxx |

How long ago was he put on the list? Some are only on there temporarily, not for life. --107.5.xxx.xx |

Offense was 15 yrs ago. Level 2, sounded pretty serious. The listing I saw that was not on the registry listed his current address and work address. --74.104.xxx.xxx |

No government run system is perfect. I've told police that there's a drug dealing selling out of an apartment of mine. They run the name and come up with nothing. A week later, after I paid the guy to leave, a licensed bounty hunter was looking for this guy because he skipped bail and had an arrest warrant. Had the computer system the policed used was up to date, the police would have arrested him themselves. --47.156.xx.xx |

The public can access information about Level 2 offenders who were classified after July 12, 2013. This information is available through local police departments and through the online registry. his offense was 15 yrs ago. So maybe this answers the question.
Still best to google them as that is how I found the info. --74.104.xxx.xxx |

Level 1 offenders (low risk) must register for 20 years, unless they have a designation (e.g. sexual predator, sexually violent offender, or predicate sex offender) in which case they must register for life. Level 2 offenders (moderate risk) and Level 3 offenders (high risk) must register for life.
Did you do a national registry search or did you only look at your state list? --71.75.xx.xx |
