I had a year contract with a tenant who is vacating on the said ending date of contract. However, there was a 7 day notice instead of the 45 notice to vacate. There is no partial rent payments also.
Do I have the right to demand the next month's rent, in full?
He is refusing to pay it.

I agree with plenty in MO. I'd say if they're moving out on the last day of the lease, and the place is left clean and tidy and in good shape, I'd count my blessings.

If you are renting weekly it would be hard to convince a judge they owe a week at a time, but using the incentive to get back the deposit by cleaning everything till it glows is a good idea. And the bank will send your check in about 3 weeks. --76.188.xxx.xx |

The contract has that a 45 day notice to vacate is required. It is the immediate next sentence after the term dates are specific.
In my opinion, the notice was not given, only 7 days, and not long enough to fill the vacancy before he leaves.
