Copper theif was electrocuted stealing wire. Interesting article on that and increase in copper thefts recently.

Copper theft is such a crime on humanity. They get so little for it. The family who gets hit has to pay so much to get it fixed and endure days of not having services they are paying for. They don't get caught and if they do the punishment doesn't fit the crime. A landscape crew I had hired were very interested in the empty house across the street where an old couple had died. A couple days later the son came to the house and used the toilet and found that all the pipes were taken. I told him about the landscape crew but no proof. I stopped hiring a roofing company to clean gutters because the two guys were more interested in looking in basement windows than cleaning the gutters.
