I just got an ad from State Farm about a program they are rolling out called rentalution. Says they have all these good things.
Anybody have any experience with this program? Or is it just a "me too" thing where they are doing what several others are doing as well? --66.188.xx.xxx |

We have a family member that is a State Farm agent, so we have houses (some) with him and Northern Neck has the balance except for one doublewide that Foremost is covering. Northern Neck said we had reached our quota with them and manufactured homes.
State Farm has replacement on a two bedroom one bath home less than 1000 sq ft. College town. Cost/coverage as follows:
2016 - $100,400 dwelling $456.00
2017 - $102,500 " $464.00
2018 - $106,800 " $537.00

I have had state farm since being a teenager, a few years ago rates started to climb in spite of property values drifting or plumetting - I have taken a few away from state farm, they have a huge advertising program which I think has created the rate hikes. --76.188.xxx.xx |

Not a fan of State Farm. Got scammed by a high producing agent. In addition, they nearly doubled my premiums over a 3 year period, calling it market fluctuation...it was them simply being greedy. Unfortunately, insurance rates are climbing even if you had no claims in 30 years.
The reason: disasters somewhere else.
