Russians/Eastern Europeans are honestly my best target market. I have/have had (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 20?) tenants from this demographic and they always:
#1) pay on time
#2) stay for years
#3) do no damage
#4) TELL you when repairs need to be done (water leaks, what have you)
#5) appreciate the heck out of you when you do the repairs.

Interesting. I guess they have social security numbers for credit checks right? What large military or scientific installation do you have nearby? That might bring them. My ancestor people are Eastern European/Hungarian, and yes we are clean, neat and respectful. --69.141.xxx.xxx |

My old neighbors fit into that demographic. One is Russian family, one is eastern europe (Bulgaria). They mind their own business, hard working.. (They are home owners, but I figure the culture carries them that way) --71.232.xxx.xxx |

NHSailmaker/NH, yes New Hampshire is full of native-born Americans; most of the growth is retiring migrants from Massachusetts, though, so it's an aging population. And neighboring Maine is losing more people than it imports, and it too is rapidly aging.
NC, on other hand, is growing rapidly, not only absorbing Yankees coming South to get away from winter, but we have a large multi-cultural immigrant population as well. --50.82.xxx.xx |

NHSailmaker, that is why we are in NC. I grew up in Massachusetts, summered and then lived in Maine for several years, moved to Florida, hated it for the entire 7 or 8 years I was there, moved to Virginia and stayed for 25. When it came time to pick a retirement destination, DH suggested FL, I refused and we compromised on coastal NC. --50.82.xxx.xx |
