You can not get anywhere with quotations, nobody can respond.. But I did want to answer your post - this is the only way....
Not sure what the verbiage is for your area but here when we win the possession part of eviction we get a -writ of restitution- that costs extra 15bux which has the sheriff come hold the peace while the possessions all go to the curb, then in 24hrs we pull back the rest and filter it out to the trash or take it to the new address driveway about 4am. The locks get changed while the sheriff is present and thereafter entry is criminal trespass.
Follow your local version of this, a local investor/landlord group can explain it to you.

Oh, I wondered why I could not respond. I kept trying, but finally gave up.
Alice, if you read this: I do not know Texas law, but I have never heard of a requirement that the outside of an envelope be marked "Important Document."
Try re-posting your post without the quotation marks.

didn’t see op but there is no requirement to mark an envelope (or any doc) as described. nor would I have to post a pay or quit or an eviction notice in an envelope. I can post the notices as is right on the front door. --104.218.xxx.xx |

If you place the notice on the outside of the front door you do have to put the notice to vacate in a sealed envelope with important document printed in capital letters along with their name and address. You can place it on the outside door if you have reasonable belief that you or someone would be harmed by posting the notice on the inside of the door. You also have to send a copy by regular mail the same day before 5 pm. You can google it to find all the particulars. This was a change starting in 2016 --174.255.xxx.xxx |

Thanx you guys and Rusty for the new methods required, this Alice is a hobby landlord who has a pro-tenant flexing against Alice for almost a year and we all know how that drives ya nuts. I post the 3day across the door jamb on orange or light colored paper so it can not be missed, even the neighbors comment on it when I am back cleaning out leftovers, they initially thought the building or county posted that important document - hehe. --76.188.xxx.xx |

Rusty is correct. I stand corrected. but we can still seize (certain) possessions so it’s all still good in the hood... --104.218.xxx.xx |
