Does anyone have a particular brand of trim paint they use? I use SW for EVERYTHING because I get a good deal on the pro mar 200, it comes out to maybe 22 per gallon I think. Their promar classic trim paint is 40 with my discount. I dont really care to pay that. I was wondering what everyone else uses???

I use the SW Pro Classic at around $40. The only time it hurts is the initial paint job. After that a gallon will go a long ways on touch-ups. --166.137.xxx.xx |

My preference is Behr. My painter has always preferred SW but I find that SW fades faster than Brehr or even Valspar although SW covers better than Behr but needs to be repainted more often. Pick your poison.

Ultra pure white 8050.
Interior/exterior hi-gloss enamel.
Not sure of the SKU.
I buy TONS of it during the Memorial Day and Labor Day sales.

Tru Value hardware paint and they can mix it in Benjy Moor colors. Their white is the best. Never yellows. Benjy Moore white looks like lemon color in just a year or so. --73.33.xxx.xxx |

Behr off the shelf white. Premium Plus Ultra. Pro-Rewards discount. Generally stock up on sales. Just bought 50 gallons on the last promo last week at 25% off. Never have had a problem with coverage, generally 1 coat gets me, trim usually takes 2, touch ups are easy.

I just recently followed my painter's advice and bought Glidden from Home Depot. I had used SW pro-mar 200, but the gladden was 1/2 the cost and covered really well. The painter with 30+ years experience knows her stuff. --68.105.xxx.xxx |

I stopped painting white years ago, get a swatch of sw bisquit, looks good with light gray, antique white, lemon chiffon and the prints don't show very much - just simple green some old clothes you toss after wiping out furnace vents, that green scent is good - orange is good also. --76.188.xxx.xx |
