What are the best kitchen and bathroom faucets to use in rental units --172.56.x.xx

Never buy the Home Depot or Lowe's special that isn't a name brand. Those faucets use special parts that in a year or two are no longer available. I would go with something like a Delta, Moen or Pfister. Or a faucet that uses standard parts. --173.55.xxx.xx

Name brand only, and try to standardize for all your units.

I use Delta, but if I were starting from scratch I think I'd go with Pfister instead. --141.129.x.xx

I don't bother repairing fixtures. Just buy the cheapest , easiest to install, and replace it when it breaks. project source from lowes --129.9.xx.xxx

Most plumbers around here carry Moen or Delta but they might go to Home Depot to pick it up. In the past, I went and purchased the faucet I wanted and had it on site. --73.33.xxx.xxx

A lot depends on if one is not to keep the rental building or house then one can buy the cheap faucets made in China which have no replacements parts available. For a rental building the best option is single handle ceramic disc type of faucet where kitchen, bathroom basin and tub faucet all use the same ceramic disc cartridge. That way one can buy some spare cartridges then replace the cartridge when required. Some faucets here have a free replacement for cartridges which makes the additional cost of a name brand like Moen, American Standard worthwhile. Standardization is important with rentals as one has fewer replacement parts to carry like what happens with the GI concept. --74.220.xxx.xxx

Don't buy from the big box stores they all have their own line of cheaper faucets. A Delta from Lowes is not the same as a Delta from a supply house.

I use Delta, American Standard, or Grohe.

Fixing faucets is a PITA, its one area where spending a bit extra can save so much time in the long run. --67.82.xxx.xx

Lately we have been getting Symmons single lever lav & kitchen faucets with ceramic disc from my supply house. They seem to be as well built as the Symmons shower mixing valves we have used for years. As an added bonus, they come with flex connectors already attached. --108.7.xxx.xxx

I just started to switch to Delta, the faucet with the lines, it's really super easy to install, but was wondering about the durability.

My whole building was American Standard , but they started to get terrible about Warantees, so I was thinking about switching the building over to Delta as per needed, but wanted to get everyone's opinion. --73.208.xx.xx

Ray [IL] my supply house pickup receipt lists them as

Symmons S-20-2-BH 4CC 1HDL Lav FCT

Symmons S-23-2-BH 1HDL Kitchen FCT

These are both chrome single handle & both come with the flex risers attached.. I believe I pay about $68.00 in small quantities for the kit & I don't recall how much the lav sets cost. --108.7.xxx.xxx
