Please help me clarify. There is some information out there that is misleading. Does to CDC eviction moratorium apply to ALL residential housing or just federally funded and / or properties with federally backed mortgages?

You are restricted from evicting a tenant for "not paying rent", however if the tenants are causing a "Health And Safety" violation and refused to stop, those eviction can go forward in most areas. Check with you local eviction attorney and get it in writing. --47.155.xx.xxx |

My understanding is ALL.
If this helps, the DECLARATION form designed to instantly halt ANY eviction should be challenged by the LL. It CAN work to your advantage.
My res lied a out seeking rent assistance (I called the local agencies) and told him I was going to tell the judge to jail him for fraud like the form says.

My practice is to evict for unpaid rent and under oath cross examine the tenant to find the status of the required 2 assistance program they must have information about, when they fail to have evidence of those 2 steps I ask the court to follow the practice of eviction before the corona times came to haunt the world as we know it, simple unpaid rent eviction... --76.188.xxx.xxx |

Also, new guidance says you can still begin eviction proceeding, and even go to court, but the court should stay the set out until January 1. You can also file a lien on anything they have for the back rent they owe in many places. --67.43.xxx.xxx |
