Greater Bristol Property Owners Association

The Greater Bristol Property Owners Association isn't just in Bristol any more!

In Connecticut, well known in Hartford County, GBPOA is THE Largest Property Owners group under one roof serving more Landlords and single property owners with the everyday local and state information and help on laws, building, zoning, health codes, blight ordinances, evictions.

When there are hundreds of members (as we have), there are more contacts with marshals, tenant check and collection agencies, Legislators, Chambers of Commerce, attorneys, etc., as well as other Landlords throughout the state with varying levels of experience. Our experienced landlords (30+ years) share insights, info, forms, leases, help with questions, solutions, screening applicants, research on whatever YOU, the BUSY member, might need and more.

Rather than concentrate solely on legislation (although equalizing laws on mutually respected common ground with our Legislators is important and we encourage all Landlords to be involved, we are only as involved as YOU, the member landlord wants us to be, because YOURS is the voice to which we listen and are directed by), our MAIN concern is the educational, financial, and legal health of our member Landlords.

Connecticut Rental Housing Alliance

Formed under GBPOA, CRHA is a legislative property owners group under which a lobbyist is hired (Tobin, Carberry, O'Malley, Riley, Salinger), bills are monitored, bills are written for sponsorship and the over all stereotype of the landlord is changed to one of respect and community renewal.
