New update to the story. I tracked down her new address so the attorney can file suit for the unpaid judgment. Where do you think she moved to? Next door, of course! I can't believe the landlord next door actually took her in. He's either desparate or he didn't check her out. Since his complex has about 25 units in it, I've got to believe he screens. Anyway, she'll be served very shortly and we'll proceed to make her life miserable over this judgment. --24.128.227.165

He's not screening if he didn't phone you to ask about her.

Some landlords are good at controlling difficult tenants. Maybe the neighbor specializes. Or maybe the neighbor is filling up his building so he can sell it as fully leased. --216.228.163.41

Wow, sometimes things just work out. Real handy to searve for sure.

CAW had my thought too, he's loading up to sell. --67.65.58.165

Does your address appear on her credit report? Most likely she simply forgot to mention her tenancy with you to her new landlord.

Better give her new landlord the web address for this site so he/she can post about the 49 yr old dog lady's shenanigans. :)

Once a crazy tenant, always a crazy tenant. --199.250.13.98

Looks like he will get a lesson in the need for proper screening.

I'm glad she didn't apply to one of my units. I was on the look out for her. --24.61.38.86

Anyone who screens would've seen the 4 months of running eviction battle on her record. My neighbor is obviously taking anyone who can fog a mirror. --207.138.153.34

That's funny David. Actually I've been sending the guy a nice letter about every 6 months reminding him that I'm ready to purchase when he's ready to sell. No response so far, but now I have additional insight into the quality (or lack there of) in his tenants. --207.138.153.34

If "they" ever product a "Mrlandlord book of choice postings and advise", then there should be an entire chapter dedicated to the 49 year old dog lady. --128.147.100.87
