I read an article stating that Fannie Mae was no longer using FICO in evaluating the credit worthiness of a mortgage applicant. This may be old news, but it's the first I've heard of it.

Does this change in their methods benefit only the residential buyer or will it also help the investor who deals in 2 thru 4 unit properties?? --65.206.46.222

I read something about this a couple of months ago. I can't retrieve the exact details, but the end result was that more people would qualify for loans. I don't know how it effects multiple loans. --64.158.134.226

But Insurance companies and soon the airlines are and will be using credit scores.

If Fannie Mae doesn't use this in their formula, I see foreclosure rates increasing. --63.96.85.17
